Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
Sayzap ("we", "us", "our") operates the website sayzap.com (the "Site"). This page explains what information we collect when you visit, how we use it, which cookies are involved, and what rights you have. We have kept it short because we collect very little.
The short version
- We do not use advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies.
- We do not sell or share your personal information.
- Our website analytics are cookieless and aggregate — we cannot identify you.
- Because we set no tracking cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner.
- When you click a link to a retailer such as Amazon, that retailer sets its own cookies under its own privacy notice.
Who we are
Sayzap operates this Site and is based in Norway (EEA). For the limited personal data described below, Sayzap is the data controller. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at [email protected].
What we collect and why
Aggregate, cookieless analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand roughly how many people visit the Site and which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not store a persistent identifier on your device, and does not track you across other websites. The data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you individually. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the Site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Server and security logs. Our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the Site, protect it against abuse, and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating the Site safely.
We do not collect names, email addresses, account details, or payment information, because the Site has no sign-up, login, comments, or checkout.
Cookies
We run the Site with as few cookies as possible.
- Strictly necessary cookies. Our security/CDN provider (Cloudflare) may set strictly necessary cookies — for example, to tell humans apart from bots and to protect the Site. These are essential for the Site to work safely and, under applicable law, do not require consent. They are not used for advertising or to track you across sites.
- Analytics cookies. None. Our analytics are cookieless.
- Advertising / tracking cookies. None. We run no ads and no retargeting.
Because we set no non-essential cookies, no cookie consent banner is shown.
Affiliate links
This Site contains affiliate links, including through the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and similar programs. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
When you click an affiliate link, you leave our Site and go to a third party such as Amazon. That third party may place its own cookies on your browser to attribute the referral and process your purchase. We do not control those cookies, and they are governed by that third party's own privacy notice (for Amazon, the Amazon Privacy Notice). We do not receive your name, address, payment details, or the specific items you buy — only aggregate commission reports.
Where your data is processed
Our analytics and security provider, Cloudflare, is a US-based company, so some technical data may be processed outside the EEA. Such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep data
Cloudflare Web Analytics retains aggregate data for a limited period (around 30 days). Technical security logs are kept only as long as needed to operate and protect the Site.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. Because our analytics are anonymous and aggregate, we usually cannot link any record to a specific person. To make a request or ask a question, email [email protected].
If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Norway, this is Datatilsynet.
For California residents: We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals.
Children
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version.
